The Barmy Army are a group of England Cricket fans who try to make a day out at the cricket even more fun, and to cheer on the England team, the Barmy Army chant was started by Norwich City fans. The Barmy Army's behaviour is more like football fans then cricket fans. They started at Headingly in the western tearrace, and they attend most Test matches home and away. The England players find the Barmy Army very helpful when they are on long tours overseas, for example a Ashes tour. Two very recongnizable members of the Barmy Army are Vic Flowers, and Billy the Trumpeter.
